What you see above is the composite of the top and bottom acrylic pieces which will for an 8 tube B7971 enclosure. Inside you can see the smaller driver board and its unpopulated IN17 positions. Two B7971 x4 boards are in green, daisy chained together. The bottom view shows the access holes which will allow access to the buttons and power. I designed this in CorelDraw, then generate an encapsulated postscript file suitable for ponoko.
I had extra room so I created a bezel for a board consisting of 128 Neon lights. I will use this in testing; This represents the maximum number of elements the driver board can handle; Instead of 8 tubes, we have 8 columns of 16 neon lights each.
